Intermittent backup camera issues

2015 Trail Premium-bone stock
After driving in heavy rain, or going thru a car wash, I’m having intermittent issues with back up camera.
Screen will be very dark, or completely black.
Leaning towards camera, or “elephant trunk” bundle of wires from body to back hatch.
Anyone experienced similar issue, and resolved it.

I've experienced it too, but after shutting the rear gate. I think it's a connection issue in mine, but I've definitely seen this described here before. A little searching and you should find it.
