Intermittent Passenger Window Issue

So the other day I was driving around and my girlfriend went to roll her window down. It wouldn't go. So I hit the window lock button thinking it might have got pressed and still wont go.

I roll her window down for her just fine with my control. Then we get to our destination and she goes to roll it up. At first it started going but then started going up really SLLLOOOOW. I reached over and was able to roll it up just fine with my controls again.

Throughout the last couple of days we have been testing it and sometimes it will work just fine and other times it wont work at all.

Any advice?

Similar issue a few months ago. Passenger side went down but not up. And sometimes the drivers side control would work to close it. I took out the window control and cleaned it and eventually it worked. But I can't say that is what fixed it. Try disconnecting the battery. Worth a try.

I've got one that if you try to roll up the window it sometimes won't go, or stops early. The deal is the driver's door up/down switch for that back window has quit working when pressed all the way up. Gotta tease it a bit and not push it all the way up. Works fine that way.

any update? dirty switch? bad motor? ever tried taping 12 volt and see if it goes faster than normal?
