yesterday, while I was out looking for a pickup, I stumbled upon a 2022 Army Green TRD Off Road Premium edition w/kdss.
I was at a Nissan dealer a block away waiting for them to PDI a Titan XD they were fire sale-ing. I was there to take it on a test drive and likely buy it. Unfortunately for them, they didn't do the PDI before I arrived and I didn't want to test drive it without a functioning nav/radio/infotainment unit.
While I waited for the PDI, my daughter and I went for a walk. A few minutes later, she points out an Army Green 4runner in front of and on display at the Toyota dealer. Of course we went and took a peek. You have to, it's the law.
I know that these are super hard to find these days and usually must be pre ordered to get your hands on one without paying extraordinary high ADM, so I expect it was presold and awaiting the purchase. On top of that, with the Toyota manufacturing line being down due to the recent ransomware attack, it's going to be even harder to get your hands on one.
On a whim I decided to inquire and found it was presold, but the person didn't qualify for financing when it arrived the day before, so it was up for sale.
....No ADM.....
I said "Sold". I called the Nissan dealer and said thanks anyway and took this baby home to join it's older sibling.
Even though it's 12 a yr old platform, they have done a decent job keeping it updated, it's still such an impressive suv.
