Hey Eric, there is no maximum; CBI just requested at least five before gearing up. I believe they're going to make an initial batch of ten (10), but don't quote me on that quantity.

Primarily, it's a good bit larger than our OEM batteries. Also, Marine batteries are typically more robust to shock and extreme angles.

LMAO, in all seriousness, the Die Hard Platinum Group 31 just happens to be their marine battery. The reason I want it is because it is an AGM aka "dry" cell.

OK, Nathan has been swamped but finally got back to me. CBI is working on getting the product added to their website then you guys can place your orders. They anticipate on having a run available in approximately two (2) weeks. I will update accordingly.

Here is a picture of the finished product. The image is a little washed out, but it is black powdercoat.

Why are y'all buying a battery tray? The 31 fits in the stock tray perfectly. Does it do something else?

I believe the group buy price is the same as the introductory price on their site, so if you want it, buy it online.

Please place your order through CBI's site and post back here so we can track who has paid. According to Nathan, the first tray has been shipped out.

I didn't know this thread got moved, otherwise I would have been in the initial group. Regardless, I purchased one through the CBI site and am patiently awaiting its arrival.

Now to figure out which battery to put in it...
