Introduction, and eventualy upgrade thread......

Great looking truck and thanks for sharing. What Bilsteins did you end up purchasing and where? I need a set soon and wanted to order them and install them when I get my 99 springs in, thanks!

i just got the HD's nothing adjustable, or too special. 4wheel parts in compton (old performance products) had them in stock for a decent price, so i just got them from there since i was in a hurry.

and a shot w/ my other running vehicle ...

SOOO JEALOUS! I had an 02' Is300 about a year ago and loved it! I would do anything to get that car back. Unfortunately I had to sell it because I had to pay for school but hopefully one day I'll be back on the road with one! I would love to have one with my 4runner :bluejump:

Here's a few pics of what mine looked like (Only pic I've got right now but thought I'd post it for the hell of it). There is tape around the windshield because I just got it replaced that day. Last pic I have with the car :(

i think we all must have the same bug, because all of us with 4runners seem to love those little things.

and yes, id love to be driving an is300! or moreso an is350

do you mean the 5 stars?? because if you mean the regular lame 2x3star wheels like i have in my pic then no haha sorry. if you have 5 stars then ya i am interested

Finally time for a bit of an update on my 4runner..... after a short trip up a little fire road on t-day I broke one of he front sway bar end links. I finally had a good reason to make my quick disconnects.

now I just have to finish the second one. Then of course the rear is next.

As far as my wheels ...sold a long time ago. And my IS usually sits in the garage doing nothing.

I know I'm slow..... damn truck is just too reliable never gives me an excuse to work on it! What endlinks did you go with? I can talk to the guy that does mass production for us at work, doing them by hand like these would take way too long for me to even want to do it. At least with he equipment I currently have. Of course first is to put them on the street and trail and make sure thy hold up

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just got some OE replacements, couldn't afford the WAbfab disconnects ($140 a set). Spent $30 instead.

Let us know how they do, then we should turbo my 4Runner hahah

We can boost your truck ...... but if those end links were out of your budget, then I don't think your ready for a turbo just yet. lol I just finished up the other front so we will see what happens over he next week on the freeway.

And if anyone is in need of a single end link, pay shipping and that pictured stock one is yours. Joint is still good it just has that damn red clay on it from AZ.

lol I meant it was a little more than I wanted to spend on a set of end links.

Some forced induction sounds like fun and I would do it if it's a reasonable cost. What do you think it would cost... just for ****s, like $1500, $2000?

That's a pretty broad question..... I mean people do it on the cheap, but they usually can do all the welding and fab work themselves. If you wanted to drop it off with me and pick it up running, driving and tuned I would want 4-5k. I'll pm you with more details when my internet is working again .... typing the phone gets old.

damn bro! might have to hold on that ahaha.

Thanks for your time, good luck dude. Sway bar disconnects sound a little
more... economical :)

I want those endlinks! let me know if your gonna make anymore. How much it would cost shipped to 98466

How important is the disconnect part? If you just want a good quality endlinks I can do those much cheaper with out all the time to machine the disconnect portion.
