Heh, I must have missed something. Honestly I've stopped even looking at threads with certain words in the titles and I'm posting less than before because of some of the stupidity here recently.
Yesterday I washed, vacuumed, cleaned glass inside and out, and reorganized stuff to get ready for camping season. Also weighed the truck today when I was at the dump dropping off empty propane cylinders and some old bear spray. 2930 kg!
As for more pics, I'm heading down to Crowsnest on Friday to do some camping...

My dog gets the back seat to himself so all my stuff is either in the back or on the floor behind the front seats. Most of the "organization" is just having stuff in Front Runner Wolf Pack bins.
There's still snow at higher elevations but everything else is tinder dry. Most of the province has a fire ban or advisory on. Runoff just started on Friday in the Bow river sub-basin so we'll see how long that lasts.

There is nothing dry in CO, either from rain or snow, I'd be surprised if several of the higher passes even open this year. Flooding all over the place right now, not as bad as other places, but the reservoir by my house is out for the first time in 10 years.
I have two large car seats for kids in the back seat so that space is for the kids. 55 lb lab mix in the back... always trying to get more efficient packing for camping! Just hoping things dry out a bit so the kids will want to go!

I've been following your thread for awhile now and just wanted to say great photos! This thread is truly inspiring, makes me want to get out and explore the mountains. My only complaint is that it took 42 pages till you finally busted out the fly rod. :thumb:
And the swingout makes a great rod holder when you're putting on your boots and waders.

Well technically I busted out the fly rod long before I even got the truck.
How's this? Truck parked off the Copper river at the spot where I caught my first steelhead. First road trip I took with it.

Wow. That's 6459 LBS. That weighs almost as much as my lifted Burb.
How well does your 4Runner move all that weight?

I think it moves just fine for what it is. I got all the fast driving and launches off the line out of my system back when I drove Acuras. I can get it up to 150 km/h no problem when I need to pass on a single lane highway. I still get 16 litres per 100 km (about 15mpg) in city driving at that weight with the RTT and MTRs on.
Popped this into the truck last night. If it isn't pouring rain after work today I'm going to pull a valve core and see how long it takes me to go from 0 to 38 psi.

If cutting and bending three pieces of aluminum strip is fabbing, then yes. I didn't get a pic of the mounted compressor because it was darker by the time we finished and all I had was my phone.

It is surprisingly fast. I haven't actually timed though. Enjoy faster airing up! I plan to install a tank or two at some point as well.

One of my friends compared that compressor with another guy airing up the same size tires with a CO2 tank and said it was close. Can't wait to try it out for real on the weekend.
