[Intruder]

After an entertaining evening of overcooked steak and an education on rum (it's what's for dinner) we were all up early Sunday morning. We packed up and policed the campsite then made our way to the Seven Bridges trailhead just up the road. As usual we were treated to some awesome scenery on the trail.

Once we were back out from Seven Bridges we headed up the mountain to the abandoned mine. We stopped for some quick lunch and took in the scenery.

When everyone was ready we started driving to the mine and lookout. On the way one of the guys had to head back to Calgary for dinner with his folks but the rest of us carried on.

While we were on the lookout some snow started to fall, but we quickly got out of it. After we got back down from the mountain and to the highway we aired up just as it started to rain a bit. We made a stop at the Fas Gas again to refuel and grab burgers for the drive home. Driving up Hwy 22 we were once again hit by some torrential rain (aka free carwash) but it soon cleared up and the rest of the drive home was uneventful.

The lower skirt hit something hard and bent. Popped a couple of the bolts but nothing too serious. The other pics were at about 2100 metres elevation I think.

Spent all night at work looking through this thread and am amazed at the progress you've made on the 4Runner and the scenery you have out there.

This thread though serves as a perfect example of why I can't wait to ditch my little car (GTI) for a 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, or a truck. While I still love speed, I've never been into the racing scene around here and the off-roading crowd seems like it's much more inviting and friendly; plus I would love to start fishing more again and my car makes it difficult to get to some spots around here.

Keep up the posts, as this will just continue to make me realize I'm making the right decision whenever I can finally pull the trigger on a new ride.

Yeah, ever since they changed Google Photos it's been a pain in the ass to link pictures. Took that one with my phone and couldn't be bothered to upload it elsewhere.

Bought it second hand on Thursday. Today was my first time fishing it and that was my first fish on it. Got a bunch more after but I try not to take a lot of fish pics when I'm by myself.
