IPF (ARB) Lights Install???

Guys,

Does anyone know if the IPF ARB lights can be connected to the existing fog lights wires and be actuated from the turn-dial switch?....or do I have to use the IPF switch to control them? I figured the existing fog light switch already has a relay from Toyota.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yeah you can use the existing wires. I went a step further and put my own relay in as well just as added protection and it allowed me to step up the gauge of wire I was using. Depending on where you cut the factory wires all you'll need to do is splice the wires and connect your lights and your set.

Thanks Tucson4runner!

Yeah, I was wondering about the wire gauge as well....since the factory wires are pretty thin, im concerned if the wattage of these lights will cause any issues with the oem relay setup or wires. I think the bulbs are either 55W or 100W.

I'm not sure if you need to or not. I only did because the rigids I bought called for a larger gauge. If you go this route just cap the passenger fog light wires and use the positive from the driver's side for the relay trigger. This way you'll be able to run your larger wires and throw and extra in line fuse for more protection.
