iPhone Bluetooth issues?

Hello,

I recently picked up a 2012 LE, and have successfully setup most of the techie features. I've run into an issue with inbound bluetooth phone calls though, and when I attempt to answer a call through the on screen system, it doesn't sync up. I'm able to push answer on the screen, however i'm unable to hear the person on the other end. I have to physically change the iPhone 5 from the in car selection to the handset to talk to the person.

This only happens on inbound calls. The outbound works just fine.

Thoughts? Anyone else experienced this and know of a solution?

Thanks!

My Bluetooth works no more than 50% of the time, but I haven't experienced your individual problem. Mine just won't sync up reliably.

12 ltd with entune iPhone 4 and now my iPhone 5 Bluetooth works flawlessly. Never had a issue with connections or sound quality. Use the controls on the vehicle to answer though.

Go into settings on head unit and choose forget this phone and do the same on your iPhone then reconnect through Bluetooth again any issues you where having should be gone.

I have 2013 with Entune, and iPhone 5. I have the same problem with incoming calls frequently. I have to touch the screen where it says "switch to phone" and immediately press again to switch to hands free. Pisses me off!

My 4S worked well for both phone and music. Now the 5 does not connect for music. Guess I need to try again.

Ok so since this is a bluetooth issue I'd like to ask a similar question but first I have a 12 SR5 non JBL with Iphone 4S and no issues when it comes to the phone receiving calls via bluetooth or any issues regarding the handset connection.

But when using bluetooth to connect to Pandora I can't seem to be able to have both the phone connected via bluetooth and pandora. It's either the phone via bluetooth then pandora via the USB which leads to error 5 or pandora via bluetooth and work's perfectly but the phone is no longer hands free. Is this how it works? Hope that made sense and sorry to hijack but didn't want to start another iphone/bluetooth thread after reading the other ones...

i guess i am a little old school with a regular iPhone 4, but i have never had any trouble connecting or streaming music to the stereo (JBL). I stream Spotify in my truck every day. However, i have run into a problem connecting my Google Nexus 10 tablet. The tablet sees the head unit and prompts me to enter the BT pairing pin number but the head unit won't complete the pairing process.

This issue is with the iPhone 5 on inbound calls it doesn't always connect to the car multimedia Bluetooth. I have had my iPhone 4 , 4s with no issues for the past 10 months. Upgraded to the new iPhone 5 and now having incoming call answering issues..

The new iPhone 5 must be using a updated Bluetooth connectivity read on this forum there was an update for entune with pairing of certain iPod's.
2012 ltd with entune, had no issues with bluetooth prior to the iPhone 5
