With the v8, hood scoop, tube rails, xreas, etc....... Then I'll take the "station wagon" any day over a butt ugly new Limited or SR5 even up.
Is a 4Runner the right vehicle for me?

Why? I test drove a 12 LTD. Amazing ride. Comfy. As you can tell, I dont off road. I love the look of a clean ride. Why is the 5th gen bad???

It's certainly not bad, but I'm surprised you find the 5th gen as an upgrade. I think the quality of the build is inferior to the 4th gen but "to each his own".
If have a well maintained 4th gen that runs well, you should hold on to it like grim death. Toyota short changed the 5th gen badly and it will be apparent to their owners after they've had it a few years. I don't think you'll see many of them with 150-200k miles that still run strong, solid, and without a rattle or issue like you do with thousands upon thousands of 4th gens......IMO.

Wow. well I never keep my vehicles longer than 4-5 years, so we shall see.
Anyways, who knows, by then it could really look like a minivan like the new Pathfinders...
