is it bad to keep something plugged into power plug 24/7?

so yeah...title says it all

can i keep a power cord for my iphone always plugged into the plug near the shift handle or is this a bad thing? the only reason i ask is because it's one of those jolt minis and they're a pain to take back out. btw i don't have the 12v constant/always on mod. power to accessories shuts off when engine does.

The 12V outlets don't draw power when the truck is off. I used to leave my satellite radio plugged in all of the time and had no issues.

You're good to go then, just leave it in when it's not in use and it won't draw power. Even if it did, I highly doubt charging your iPhone would drain the battery dead.

i personally, just plug it in when i need it, and leave it unplug when i dont need it.
