Is it possible to add a spare tire swing rack to 1993

I was wondering if it would even be possible to add the swing away rear tire mount to my 1993 4runner? I like the way they look and though I just got a roof rack, I would prefer to keep other things up there. Anyone ever try this?

Its possible, but complicated. Unless you had the stock one, there are supports in the body that are not there. You might look in to an after market bumper with a tire carrier instead.
