Can you plan and share routes through your browser? Doing it online and automatically syncing to devices is the biggest thing with gaia

After a quick look it looks like lifetime US map is $19.95 and maps can be synched among devices.
Don't know about downloading and saving maps . . . didn't see any free stuff yet, but not deep into it.

I mean can you go onto a website and plan things, browse roytes, share routes, download files or print maps, and have that sync to all of your devices? I typically plan routes in gaiagps.com then the routes I make are syncd to my phone and tablet

This is what I'm looking to do. Plan the route on my desktop computer at home, save the route and sync to my phone and tablet. When on the trail, follow the route using Dual GPS receiver using phone or tablet when no wifi or cell service is available. Keep a library of routes so I can reload them in the future or share with others.
For me, this question began with the issue of no wifi or cell service on the trail, therefore no way of navigating in real time. The Dual GPS receiver solved one problem: access to GPS location when no wifi or cell tower in range. Next problem, navigation software that receives GPS information from the Dual GPS receiver so I can navigate in real time on the trail using mobile device.
This thread has been very helpful in sorting out mobile device software to solve real time trail navigation on trail.

Yes you absolutely can! Just used it this past weekend at Alabama Hills and it worked perfectly. Planned the route, synced to phone, downloaded GPX and shared it via email to the group.

Cool, what's the website?
Edit: nevermind, found it. It's really good for free but it's just Open Street Maps and another map that doesn't have much info, so you'll need to pay for better maps for offroading. If you're paying Gaia has more features and better maps (including USFS MVUM maps)
