Is it "wrong" to put sliders on a 2WD?

I have a 2wd and I am getting ready to buy me some sliders. I have never had a 4wd and have never gotten stuck. Shoot, I even used to do alittle off roading in my 77
4door nova.
get 'em and enjoy them.

I'm up in the air on it, still - admittedly it's mostly aesthetics at this point. Truth be told I like the look of the truck sans any sort of running board or step bar, but my fiance has informed me that this is simply unacceptable.

My old Navigator had automatic extending running boards when you opened the door that you could turn on or off, great concept..except the POS worked half the time, and its long gone ..im fine with the ones on my SE....

I would have to agree. i am in the same boat. hate the running boards, but the lady says they stay. post up some pics if you get them.

sliders are for use... not looks
