Is my 2012 an SR5 or a Trail?

I have a question - I have a 2013 SR5 that I just bought used and I noticed that the piece that runs under both doors from wheel to wheel is damaged. More specifically, the plastic clips are no longer holding the center of these trim pieces against the vehicle. This has caused the doors to rub on them damaging the paint on the trim and under the door.

1) What is this piece called?
2) Can these be replaced with something different?

Toyota calls it a rocker molding, I have seen it referred to as a side skirt aswell (non Toyota lingo). They can be replaced with sliders or simply removed although I think it looks a bit odd removed. Sounds like the best solution is to buy the clips that hold it on an hope the new ones hold better. I think that rocker molding from toyota is 400-600$, but I have been wrong before

I like those...much better looking than the plastic pieces that are there now...and probably cheaper. I found out the pieces are $900 each! Seems a bit much for plastic.

Now if I could only find a way to replace the awful orange instrument cluster with something better.

You will notice I mentioned that in my first reply that his 4runner has SR5 badges so it is not a trail

Pretty sure from '10-'13 there were only 3 Trims available:

SR5 (has badge on side)
Trail (no badge, but has hood scoop) :hello:
Limited (has badge on side)

None of this Pro/Premium/TRD/etc stuff you see after the '14 refresh. Though there were some other options for each the trim level remained the same.

My 4Runner is a 2013 and says SR5 between the back doors and rear side windows.

None of this Pro/Premium/TRD/etc stuff you see after the '14 refresh. Though there were some other options for each the trim level remained the same.

My 2011 (Canadian) Limited has no badges.

I was going to recommend asking a salesperson/manager at a dealership to print you a v-spec from dealer daily. I had no idea this website existed and I worked at a dealership selling cars for long that I should have known about this. Ultimately I asked too many questions and they just gave me access to dealer daily. Whatevs.

That's correct. It was simpler, but the damn sales people know the "trail" and the "premium" are harder to find and command a higher price so they they to rip off anyone they can.

Just look here and you will know what you have. I'm pretty sure that is SR5.
