Is my center diff lock button supposed to be backlit?

Noticed there's no backlighting on my center diff lock button, not sure if that's how it's always been or if I had a bulb go out. 2004 sport.

Well sonofa*****. So then next question: is the bulb in the switch replaceable or do I have to replace the switch? Cuz the oem ones are expensive...

The bulb is replaceable, however, I have no idea what the part number is.

Radioshack part number 272-1092 comes in a pack of 2 for like $1.99 or something.

Then pull the switch out, turn the little bulb carrier out, and follow this write up of how to replace the bulb in the carrier. All back together and done. I've used 4 of these radioshack bulbs so far in switches and HVAC units replacing the OEM ones as they go out and they work well.

From the front or do I have to pull the complete lower panel?
