Is my power steering pump going bad?

That was my thoughts as well, you would get more MPG or maybe not since you could get no traction, but tires would last forever!!! :eyebrows:

lol! how did i end up writing that? maybe i would have to invent a zero gravity procedure device.

Is anyone interested in buying my steering shaft with yoke and bolts? I've decided not to replace it yet at this time. I've sprayed it with grease and seems to be working for now. I have to deal with my other car while I have this long weekend coming. Timing belt replacement due to coolant leak in the waterpump. It's a jetta 1.8t.

will install it and cut the old shaft with the hack saw. i will document it and post the pictures during the Christmas holiday.
