Would you happen to know if I need to remove the exhaust pipe in order to remove the trans? I'm doing this on the street and would like to remove as little as possible. I see the manual says that I should but I can't see why. It looks like it would drop straight down.

I'm not sure on that one. But a lot of the times the tcase or the trans will get hung up on the exhaust
