Is the 4Runner your daily driver?

I guess that depends on the major, but for a vast majority, (including mine which is electrical engineering), its the best school (ratings-wise) in CO and every state that touches CO.

Some of the exceptions: Teaching, Veterinary, Culinary, Geological Engineering

Yep - I totally agree! I graduated from CU with my Master's (Evironmental BIO) in '93 from CU, '91 with 2 Bachelor's degrees (Mechanical Engineering and genetics) I worked on part of the Hubble Telescope during my undergrad years, so they get a lot of interesting projects and some good funding. Boulder is a bit pricey though for living. Nice if you can get in, but the pricing to buy a house is more expensive than the surrounding areas.

Obviously since I just bought my 04 4Runner mine is my daily driver. But....the wifey is buying an 07 Accord EX-L with 7K on it...so that may be put to some good use!!

I just bought my 2003 4Runner V8 (4WD) as a second car for the winter as well as for hauling stuff around.

My primary driver is a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe, which is horrible in the mountains. Although with twin turbos, it makes up for it in speed!

2005 T4R is my daily driver. Its a V8, 4WD Limited; the onboard computer shows 18mpg and 41 mph average. Reality is about 17.8 mpg with mostly highway driving.

1996 Porsche 993 Cabriolet (911 convertible) is my weekend and fun weather car. However, the 4Runner is so much more comfortable to take on roadtrips, not to mention I love my AVIC-D3 Navigation/I-pod/Bluetooth/XM installation.

Is the 4Runner your daily driver? If not what is? When do you drive the 4Runner? I've just been curious about this since the price of gas is so high. Just to let you all know that it is my daily driver.

I have a Miata that is my daily driver. I drive the 4Runner when it is snowing, raining, icy, have more than 1 person with me or if I need to tow.

I only drive the 4Runner when it's snowing, or if we're on a camping trip, going skiing or hauling. Other than that, my trusty Civic gets the job done (190k miles! & 40MPG). I've been eyeing the new Si's for DD duty, though... I love my Honda's! :biggrin2:

The 4Runner will mainly be for leisure stuff...towing, hauling the dog around, traveling and camping, etc....

My xB is my daily driver. I didn't buy the xB due to gas prices. I had an '04 but got rid of it to get my T4R. I missed the original xB and I don't like the new 2008 xB design so I bought an '06.

I'm very interested in these as a delivery vehicle for my business. I've read good reviews of them. What kind of mpg in real world driving?

The 4Runner is my daly driver. Even though I'm now spending $65 a week in gas, it's still a lot less to fell this up then my Silverado. : (

Been thinking about one as a delivery vehicle for my business. Think they'd be eye catching with a wrap job(vinyl). What's your mpg and any drawbacks to it? Does the back seat fold flat?

My 07 sport has just over 15,000mi on it now and my numbers are done by hand, the in-dash shows 26-28mpg.

I have noticed that the faster I go the less I get... the more over 70 I go, the less and less it gets.

"avg" is average SPEED. Not mpg. :bigok:
