A quart of GM synchromesh fluid with whatever is your fluid of choice would be worth considering if your synchros are getting bad. It will work as a stopgap measure - for probably another 100k miles!

My shifter was getting sticky going into first & reverse. After researching on here the vast majority of people recommend Red Line MT 90. I put it in last summer & my trans shifts like new again. It the only oil I will use from now on. I read in many threads that the Amsoil is too slippery.

I see you have a 3rz too. Don't knock the amsoil without trying. I've run both and mine prefers the amsoil. I guess it could vary from truck to truck.

I think it's like 30k miles or something.

It is my personal belief that MT-90 can go 60K miles no problem.
