Is this a 4R part or random trash?

I'm pretty sure only 01 & 02's had it. Whenever I'm looking at used T4R's that thing is always cracked. LOL

Edit: Weird, seems to be no logical reason why some have it & some don't.

Yeah it's cracked because you have to put a jack stand in that tiny little hole. Mine barely fits and hasn't cracked yet though.

My 98 came with that thing and was still on even after 190,000 miles. I took it off though because it was cracked and didn't seem to offer that much protection from anything...

It's meant to keep road spray off your fuel lines and fuel filter. Every try to remove nuts off a rusted fuel line? It's near impossible lol.

That part wouldn't fit on a 2WD - the trans crossmember ~6" farther back. Interesting that there is a slot in the jack point (more likely, jack stand point) and clearance for the crossmember on the frame to allow for MT and AT crossmember positioning.

Just a stab in the dark, but I'd guess it's a '99+ deal. My '97 didn't have it; '01 did/will.

Daughter's '99 4Runner Limited has it (cracked of course). Was going to replace it to keep dirt/crap off this area, until I saw the price tag.
