Not sure what 4WD 4runners go for on the west coast, but in the southeast US that'd be a 8k truck max. Seems to be running bigger tires and some sort of lift, depends how nice that stuff is...
 
For that price you should be able to find something with mileage closer to 100K. I agree it depends on the lift too. Good luck!

They seem to be pricier on the west coast. I know KBB is around 8-9k. I'd be willing to go 10k at the most. They are hard to find though. Some dealers are selling them in Cali for well over 15k depending on condition.
 
Seems super high to me, but vehicles are worth whatever someone is willing to pay, so if they are hard to come by in your region then lack of supply will command a higher price. Mine is a V8 4WD and the dealer wanted 8k, by the time I was done, I paid $7k in cash, and had way less mileage at 126k.
 
It should be around 10k.

That ad says it has a rear locker, that guy doesn't know what he's talking about there, I doubt it does.
 
I used to sell Toyotas. 4x4s in the Seattle area. That's an $8000 truck. However, I didn't see the "aftermarket goodies" the previous commenter mentioned.

I paid $10k for a 2003 limited that was clean as hell with 168k on the odometer. Leather, V8, sunroof, sold in Seattle by a car dealer.

I got an 05 v8 Sport 191k in June for $7250. For living in southeast PA its whole life the rust wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (I don't have pictures but if you find TiVo's V8 Build we're about equal on rustyness, is that a word?:smash:).

That's a little high, but might be worth it if the lift and tires are quality and in good shape and what you want, with good service records.

I don't know where people are buying rigs lie this for $8K, but I need to buy one and drive it to CA for sale.

Ive been searching for a few weeks. Around me every 4runner is over 11k if its in reasonable shape. immaculate and lifted id say 14 around me.
I've basically(pick up saturday and shady used car lot could sell it out from under me) just purchased a very clean 05 v8 with 109k miles Some not so bad new england rust on the frame and no record of timing belt for 9k after taxes and fees. which I'd say is just fair price since it needs 1k in maintenance immediately and would cost 2-3k if i paid someone to clean up and coat the frame.
 
Forgot to add. If you are thinking about getting it, make sure you check for a bad head gasket. The 04, 05 and early 06's tend to have them. Good luck.
 
That's a lot of samolians for a rig that old with that mileage. Best thing to do is get away from buying from a dealer and go private sales. You can have all the "after market goodies" you want but at the end of the day, that does not increase value unless you have a buyer that appreciates them. The general rule for aftermarket stuff is that you will get about 30% back on it if you are very lucky.

Jeeps wranglers are notorious for this. You spend major $$$ to build a rig to your liking, then when they try to sale, get the money back which you rarely do. It's is normal to put $20 k up underneath a jeep and never touch the engine or transmission.
