Did you try using edmunds or truecar?

I just picked up a 4x4 SR5 Premium with 3rd row for $35,600 before TTL, just to give u an idea. I think sticker was $39,875.

I paid approximately exactly (if that's a thing) what Rodman did--just below $35,600 for a 4x4 premium with third row.

But aside from that, I noticed in one of your response to Rodman you said he "got" his for a better price than you. Does that mean you've already sealed this deal?

If so, don't look back now and just bathe in the joy of your new baby!!!

I think with the way 4Runners are built today, they really provide a great proposition for someone who wants to keep a capable, versatile vehicle for years and run it into the ground! What's another $1000 if you love owning it for 10 years?!

Hey MIke,

No im close to it tho...IM on the fence between a 14 FJ and this..lol im really going crazy..Im leaning heavy towards the runner tho...the interior on the 14 4runners are just sweetness ..and the FJ is bare bones zombie crusher

Ha. In that case try and get a better deal if you do in fact go with the 4R. I went through the same longing for the zombie-crushingness of the FJ but went with the 4R for overall versatility. Many solid builds on here also have also inspired me to eventually turn my 4R into a powerful zombie force that any stock FJ would be terrified of...
 
By the way, definitely check out TrueCar.com if you haven't already. Doing it for the Manhattan zip code, it shows you can lock an SR5 premium at 36,194 and it also says a few have paid below 35k.

When I was calling dealers working out the best deal and I was a few hundred off what I was willing to pay ... I was like screw it ... lets just get this done. What's a few hundred when you have your 4runner!
