Is this normal or should I be worried?

Noticed it today as I was inspecting my cv axles, axles look good, no leaks or tears, looked at my UCA's and don't remember them being like this before. Around them everything is dry except for right there, same on both sides. Not really familiar with these kinds of things, thanks in advance.

Leaking grease from upper bj. Not a big deal likely. Put a pry bar between the top of the spindle and uca to check for up down play in the bj. You are probably fine. Just wipe it up.

If there is play could it cause vibrations while driving?

Usually thunk/clunk on speed bumps or other bumps

Not a big deal. If replacement is required, it's pretty easy and inexpensive.

Doesn't have any play but now that I know its leaking I'll replace them as soon as possible, which aftermarket UCA's are good? I was looking at either desert products or camburg, anyone done a write up on swapping the UCA's?
