Is this normal?

I replaced my rear pads today. When i jacked up the rear i noticed a lot of water coming out of the driver side front. Right above the body mount. Is this some sort of drain for sun roof? It was like pouring out of there pretty good. Ive always noticed when it rains that water drips from my driver side. And i see why. But this time when the ass was jacked up it was like WHOA!

Never seen that before.. Looks like water is collecting somewhere and when you tilted the truck it started to pour out. Gonna have to investigate!

The water looks clean for the most part so it likely wasn't sitting there too long. Still strange though.

You got water collected on the passenger floor under the carpet. You'll have to dry it otherwise, it will corrode the floor. this could be from AC drain not properly fixed to the outside drain tube or missing tube.

Interior is bone dry. Passenger and driver side. It did just rain like crazy few days ago. I can feel with my finger it's a small little hole.

Could you explain this more please ? Because the passenger side is dry

you could trace it back, but yeah, its probably a sunroof drain.

Yes

How about under the factory carpet? You'll have to remove the door sill and the kick panel to inspect.

OR

It could be the water accumulated inside the AC evaporator that came out. Do you see a bend aluminum tube at the end of the AC drain pipe?

Most likely your rear sunroof drains are clogged but the front tubes are open. Tilt it forward and all the collected water comes out. Try clearing out the rear drains and see what happen. It is something I have to check too

So does the sun roof have 2 drains ? One in the front and one in the back ?

I have not checked under the passenger carpet. I will check tonight to see if it's wet.

Again this is under the driver right above the body mount.

Thank you all for the help. I'll check both sides under the carpet to make sure it's dry to isolate that water is not accumulating inside.

I have not used my AC. Truck has been siting for a week on jack stands. And it has been pouring here for past few days.

4 drains. 2 in the front corners which can be cleared with the sunroof open and 2 in the back. I have read the rear passenger side can be cleared from underneath easily but the rear driver side needs some disassembly to get too

So I just got home and was curious. I pulled the front passenger carpet up. And yes, it is wet under the carpet !!!!

I then went and pulled the driver side carpet. And it's also wet under the carpet.

What dog you guys think of this and what should I do ?

So the one in my photo? Is that a drain for sun roof ? Right above the body mount ?

I've noticed sometimes the inside windows fog up on me lately. Noticed it also after a car wash ! I have been wheelin hard through some mud and water.

Here is what I think.
If water comes out when you lift it; when you wheel, water can get in BECAUSE the rubber plug is missing. Do you see about an inch diameter sized hole on front floors?

Water can also get into the front driver side floor due to a damaged rubber grommet on wire harness at the firewall. But I can't think of a way how water gets into the passenger side.

The black rubber plugs aka drain plugs in the floor are all there.

This is very frustrating.

I get water accumulating under my passenger side floor mat too, but I haven't seen any water come out from jacking up the rear or anything. Would it be coming from that A/C line pictured above?

No

The sunroof drain could be clogged or you got a damaged weather seal? Corroded windshield frame?

The reason why water won't come out when lifted could be your truck still has the rubber plug on the metal floor. Just lift the carpet and remove the rubber plug and drain water. Let it dry and put back the rubber plug.

That is the sunroof drain. Just cleared mine a few weeks ago, and got the same fountain. Probably just jacking it up moved/stirred the water so it all drained in a stream like that. My front floors were also getting damp when it rains, and clearing these drains seemed to help. It almost seemed like the door seal (around the front of the door near the hinges) was leaking too, but I haven't confirmed that yet.

Well, I'm about to shoot my self! I look at the driver side rocker panel and THERE'S SO MUCH WATER JUST SITTING!!!!

I stuck a little cardboard piece in there.

About 2" of water!!!

I don't know if this has anything to do with it? But A while back I noticed these holes under the truck on the side of the rocker panels had factory type material over it. Basically covering the whole with tar type sticker. It was pealing of so I pealed it of and put my own on there. To seal it.

But I doubt this has anything to do with it. As the passenger side is the same way but inside the rocker panel its bone dry on the passenger side.

Driver side, looks like water is trying to drip out but its having a hard time!

I looked at my front window seal and around the window and theres no rust and the seal looks VERY VERY tight!

Im guessing this is my AC drain? Looks pretty clean!

So, I still need to figure out why my driver and passenger side floors were wet, and WHY I HAVE A POOL INSIDE MY DRIVER SIDE ROCKER PANEL !!!!!

Haven't you posted numerous times that you have had water in your truck and your mats were wet? Seems like you never tracked down the original problem either.
