Toyota also has stake in Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru), Isuzu and Hino (the bigger diesel trucks, like box trucks and flatbed tow trucks).

Thats was my understanding that is why I tought was another version of the XB... it looks so similar but I think this one is cuter....LOL... Daihatsu was very popular back in the days...at least where I am from....still see them in the the street (the old models) and some new models too.

Never seen this model above before until I started looking at the "for sale" car listings back home and saw this one. They also have the Daihatsu Terios that for me ...it looks like the younger brother of the Rav4

I remember Daihatsu back in the late 80s and early 90s when I was watching Price Is Right during summer break.

Daihatsu exited the US market in 1992.

JAC, yes, it is the euro version of the xB.

As pictured it is a Daihatsu Materia, which is identical to the Toyota bB, which is marketed in the US as a Scion xB.
