Is this the factory pedal?

Hey guys I'm going to be purchasing a 4th gen hopefully tomorrow and I noticed in one of the photos that the break pedal is different from the gas pedal. Is this a part of the "sport" package, or could this thing have been replaced? Thanks!

Nah, that isn't factory. I would put money that that is just a cover strapped onto the original pedal. If by chance it's not, I did replace the gas pedal which had been cut per the recall, with an OEM uncut one. It was just 2 10mm bolts and a harness. Super easy. Also, looks like you're missing a blank button in the dash just to the left of the steering wheel.

Okay thankyou I'm just trying to figure out if it was in any accidents not shown on the car fax; and yeah I saw that too, maybe that had something aftermarket in it before? :noidea:

I had one for the driver pedal in my 5th gen. They seriously trimmed down the gas pedal in the 5th gen. I don't think a different pedal is anything to worry about. Inside looks nice from what I can see.

My 2004 Sport has those on the gas and brake pedal, my gear shifter is like the one shown too.

its an accessory. obx pedals that cost about 65. i still have mines on, also i didnt do there chop the the gas pedal up for that recall. my mats are clear from the pedals.
