Is this the right Billy?

I believe that is my end goal as well. Still looking at options, but seems to be the best so far for what I will be doing.

Hi guys. I have been trying to track down a pair of fronts also. I called around to a few different shops around town without any luck. 4 wheel parts suggested calling Bilstein to check on availability. (I guess since he didn't want to) the guy at Bilstein I spoke to said there would be a large amount of them going out at the end of January. Finally, I called Desert Rat who I know has a large warehouse. They have a handful in stock. They are a little pricey @ $109 per shock but I will have them on Monday.

Thanks for sharing. Love the price on CarID, but more importantly I'd love to know I will get them soon. May have to go that route.

For me I think it is wise to hold off on the lift till spring anyway.

I really don't want to deal with waiting for the settle and then the alignment in the middle of Winter.

All that would do is make it harsh on rides to Copper Mtn. I never got an update today but I am still going to let ya know when it ships.

I placed my order from carid 4 days ago and it should have shipped today now I got a email saying it's delayed till the 22nd

Thanks for the updates. Further reason for me to hold off I suppose. suppose this is what I get for waiting 3 and a half years to add a lift.

I got an email from CarID and they said that my order is on back order and will be handled when they have more in stock. When ever that may be :boink:

its been painfully aparent for some time now that 5100's are made of "unobtanium".

....but be grateful, car-id is the worst if you have to return anything!!!!

I tried good ol shockwarehouse to tryn get a set of 5100's in preparation for adding my bumper. Like everyone else, rears in stock, fronts ship date pushed back 3 times before canceling and going with coilovers.

Did get an interesting email from shockwarehouse regarding the back orders though, as to Bilstein currently expanding their manufacturing capabilities and until the new factory(s) are fully up and running certain items will be unavailable.

Can't really confirm, hope it's true for Bilstein's sake, great products but whole lotta people waiting with seemingly no one left with any still in stock.

Good luck to all those waiting on their fronts!
- Jeff

Yes I should say that I did receive my rears no prob ! That said what is the issue ? Never had a problem when I ordered my fronts for 05 ! Be it carid or whomever . And for those that say wheeler's has them ya 100$ more. So the old adage supply & DEMAND I guess if you want them NOW go for it !

I'm in the same boat with carId. Back ordered at most places anyway. FYI I ordered my SAW 1.5s from wheelers yesterday and got an email saying those are also back ordered!! No huge hurry on my part though, still saving for tires!
