Alright,

I will try and not rage to much but I'm just wanting to see what others are feeling right now on this topic.

As a Marine Corps Combat Vet this really hits home. At this point I really just want to go back and do it right this time. This bull S$#% of playing nice is not working. I really wish the failed leadership would finally wake up.

Let's hear it and others points.

No more 'nation building' BS... Just kill the goatfu€kers and come home. We defeated the Germans and Japanese in a about 4 years. For one thing the Government will never let us go in and do it right, They ( insurgents ) have already gotten large stashes of weapons, And money to support their effort. Thousands of their own police dropped their weapons and uniforms and ran. Oh i was in the Army in Nam from 67 to 68 . I feel what your saying, We will have to see what our leaders say. I makes me sick to think it was all for not.
 
I'm sure the obama administration is crafting a strongly worded speech as we speak, replete with #Hashtags, which will be delivered with a stern look..
 
I'm sure obama was outraged this morning when he read the daily paper and saw what is happening. PERIOD!

I for on had never served, and im ashamed to say that. I feel for all that have, it must be a sharp knife in the back for all of you that have or are still serving. I believe it was a mistake to have gone over there, but even more of a mistake to have pulled out before we finished what we originally started.

Is it a coincidence that this uprising is happening right after obama released his five friends from jail? I know it was and has been an ongoing thing but it seems to have increased dramatically all of a sudden.

I can only imagine how those who served feel about this whole situation. We have the means and men to go over and take care of business, but what we really need is a machine to kill all forms of communication so the media can't get involved, it's war and it's no place for them, take for example Markus Luttrell, they were worried about being tried as murders and so went against everything they were taught by letting those goat herders free, GOOD men died because they were afraid of the media.
 
Thanks for getting me started Ol' Blue - you guys are all spot on. Pulling out before the job was completed was just one of this moron's colossal f-ups. These guys know for a fact that this administration doesn't have the balls to do anything so they are marching at will.

Now after raiding a very wealthy bank, ISIS is very well funded. Look for a good chunk of that to show up in Hillary's campaign contributions so they can ensure at least 4 more years of mayhem.
 
Also a Marine veteran, and right there with you, Blue. I was in Ramadi 2004-5. I wasn't in Fallujah but a lot of my friends were.

This isn't the first time this has happened, either, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to any numbnut calling the shots from a leather armchair in Washington.

A buddy of mine posted this earlier this morning and I laughed pretty hard about it. Wish it wasn't satire, I'd totally throw in some cash!

Apparently people aren't familiar with the Status of Forces agreement? I know these facts get in the way of the "everything is Obama's fault" narrative, sorry.

We should have never gone over there in the first place. I blame Dubya for listening to piece of shit chicken hawk Cheney who's hellbent war profiteering destabilized the region when Dubya should have listened to his dad and stayed out of this quagmire.

And you'd be driving an electric mini 4x4 vehicle in lieu of your 4-Runner because we'd have had Global Warming evangelist Al Gore as President. Not to mention that every 4 wheel trail on public lands would have most likely been closed to off road vehicles by now.

Exactly and the fact is Obama let this happen on his watch. You can argue till you are blue in the face about why we were there etc... but the fact is we were there. He took over and his weak, vague foreign policy is leading to a complete middle east uprising. Not to mention Putin is doing whatever the hell he wants because he can.

Obama continues to hollow out the military and social engineer what's left of it. He is a danger to us as a whole and we are seriously in a world of hurt that will take generations to correct.

Have you seen what your great hope and change president is doing along the southern border? Using children as political pawns in order to grow government.

So under his watch we have the following:
1. Middle east uprsing
2. IRS targeting Scandal
3. Benghazi Scandal
4. Green energy fraud/waste (Solyndra, NextEra, Ener1, Solar Trust)
5. VA scandal
6. Trading terrorists for deserters
7. Fast and Furious
8. AP phone scandal/NSA spying
9. Obamacare DISASTER (you can keep you plan bs.)
10. GM bailout/union payoffs
11. Boko Haram
12. 2nd amendment infringement
13. Cliven Bundy Ranch
14. 1st amendment infringment




I just don't understand how people can still stand behind this administration or the government period. Why oh WHY would we want to grow it and give it more power over us?

Who's timeline do you think he's enforcing? Do you think he arbitrarily set the date?

We could be there another 20 years and the second we left these towlies would start jihading each other again. Let them kill each other.

Alright enough.

We are talking about today. We can all banter about the past. The fact is simple. This is a HUGE Fing problem. So should we keep getting involved or just let it all go for nothing.

I for one said it from the beginning. We staged in the wrong area, it should have been in Israel gathered our forces up there with all that was going to take sides with us and go on a sweeping ass kicking spree all the way to the pacific ocean. This BS of playing nice again is not working or this BS nation building. I have sweat, and almost died in this region. I have a total time of 5 years invested and I am for just finishing it off.
