It's a dark day in my house (warning: sad read ahead)

A friend of mine had a Husky named Ozzie that escaped out of the backyard. He came back 2 weeks later fur all matted and dirty, I joked he went to Vegas. My friend had fixed the fence but Ozzie got out again. Didn't come back after that. We think and hope someone found him and kept him.

Just had to put our shih tzu down yesterday. My heart goes out to all you guys that have lost. As much of a little shit as he was, he was my road dog. The worst is coming home and he's not there at the door, I hear small pops in the hardwood floors and have to remind myself its not him. I try not to be this emotional but it can't be overstated what he meant to me.

Very sorry for your loss. They really are part of the family. We lost ours in September. It happened right after we got back from Colorado. We decided to take him with us and we're so glad we did. He has fun.

That was good that yall got to spend time with him before he passed. Our dogs are powder puffs. They do not loke rides or trips so they enjoy the house and we have a large backyard so they have plenty of room to exercise
