Thanks for your guys input this far. still raining (for the next few days) so hopefully it will brake and i will be able to go outside and take a look.

I suggest you get a compression test done and check the plugs as you mentioned ASAP.

i have my compression tester at home... sad day!

The coolant -IS- going somewhere.

one other thing to check is the throttle body coolant lines, mine was leaking and i didnt notice it because all the coolant would just collect in the fuel rails section and make no spots on the ground.

i thought it was tranny fluid. but its been years since ive taken my TB off

Is there any kind of sweet smell of coolant coming through the vents, especially with the heater on? I had an old car that blew the heater core and started leaking all over the passenger side foot well under the seat, you couldn't see it until you really explored down there, then there was a nasty wet spot hidden from view.

You keep mentioning the overflow.
Are you sure it doesn't have a minor leak?
IE; with the overflow empty are you actually low on coolant in the rad?

yes i do check the rad and it is down when the overflow is dry.

now i am back home i will hook up my pressure tester and take a look. ill be in touch...


tested out fine, had it hooked up for 10 min and didnt loose any pressure... idk.
Also my over flow tank dosnt have a hole in it ether. checked that too.
