Top tip - Be gentle with your cleaning habits. The Attitude Black does not suffer fools.
It's a gorgeous paint but will show swirl marks like Nancy Kerrigan if you rush washing it. ;-)

Not to hijack the thread, but I've found out the hard way on how unforgiving the color is during washing. Any suggestions for what you use to wash(sponge, cloth, etc.) or how best to remove some of those swirls?

I put the zaino to my black TE 3 weeks ago, and there's no swirls. It's been scraped through the woods each weekend since, and the pinstripes have been buffing out-- so far.
I've been using zaino for more than a decade now. It's a show car polish, but I've been using it for my fishing truck that sees heavy brush and forest roads, and it has been providing great paint protection for all of my vehicles.
And lets face it, the zaino looks unreal. It's the deepest shine you'll ever see. Fantastic stuff. Certainly not the end-all of waxes, but it is the one I have experience with, and those experiences have been great.
I've been using zaino for more than a decade now. It's a show car polish, but I've been using it for my fishing truck that sees heavy brush and forest roads, and it has been providing great paint protection for all of my vehicles.

I bought a kit ages ago. It's a bit pricey, but it lasts and lasts.
I havent used z3-- There seems to be a lot of new stuff since I purchased my kit.
Z7 is the soap to use,
z2 is the first layer of wax,
z5 is the second coat of wax.
You could get away with the soap and z2 OR z5. I like the convenience of the kit, and I have nothing bad to say about any of the products in the kit.
A typical application for me would be 1.5oz of Z2 and 1.5oz of Z5.
you can add more coats as required. I typically alternate between z2 and z5.
my kit came with the accelerant as well (zfx??) Which is like a hardener.
As well as z6 (detailing spray) and 2 claybars. The z6 is nice to use at the end with a microfiber cloth, and you can touch up any areas where the wax is still showing.
Necessary? no. Awesome - yes.

I also don't want to hijack but I do have a question about the paint - all colors will swirl, correct? Just black shows the most right? Blue a bit less, mag grey a bit less, silver still less, etc?
This has me excited to try Zaino. I think I remember that being recommended by someone else in the past.
Between the sponge I used last wash(to clean the road grim, salt, etc) and ignorant people brushing up against the vehicle in parking lots while the car was covered in salt all winter, I was sick to my stomach after the last wash. When I got it out in the sun, you could really see the swirls. I came from a black Jeep GC, but the T4R seems more prone.
Are you using a microfiber towel to wash too or some type of sponge?

Hi Paui4m, I use a sponge to wash, but I buy extras when they are on sale-- the ones specific to car washing, with a slight bit of texture for scrubbing away bugs and wrapped in a cellophane wrapper. If it happens to fall on my [gravel] driveway, I get a replacement.
For wax application I use a small terrycloth pad. For removal I use either a new microfiber cloth, or one of the high-quality, American made cotton towels I purchased when I initially started with Zaino (per Sal Zaino's writeup). but now I have a giant package of microfiber cloths thanks to costco, so I grab a new one most times. I should mention I only use zaino once or twice a year. Maybe a quick touchup here and there.
I don't have a giant garage full of carwash products or anything, but a couple buckets tucked away that are labelled for car washing only, and I keep my zaino in one and a few new sponges and cloths in the other.

Yep. All paint colors swirl but the darker they are, the more it shows.
I've had a long time saying most of my life: Nothing looks better or worse than black paint depending on the day.

I personally adhere to the school of absolutely no sponges in my detail kit. I use a fake lambs wool mitt and spray that baby off before I re-dunk it in the wash water.
But whatever you use, the key is that you don't let dirt and dust particles impregnate it as you wash. THAT is where swirl marks come from 99% of the time.
Everybody has a preferred wax system. I am a Meguiars man to the bone (Meguiar's : Car Care Products) but I have also used California Gold and Mothers to great satisfaction. In fact I bought a gallon of Mothers Carnuba Wash and Wax a few months ago and so far very happy with it. It's dust/dirt suspension abilities seem spot on it gives you that little bit of carnuba between washings and ultimately waxings.
Bottom line though is a good coat of wax is the #1 key to protecting your paint regardless of the color. Think of wax as a clear coat for your clear coat.
Edit.: Forgot to add. Hands down the best polishing tool on the market is a D/A Porter Cable. I have had mine now for about 8 years and it was worth 3 times what it cost. You can't burn the paint period and it makes short work of polishing a car. Here is what I am talking about, not a recommendation for that vendor. I bought mine on Amazon:
