I brought her home tonight. A 2007 4WD V8 Limited in Shadow Mica. I've wanted a 4Runner for a long time... ever since the 3rd gen, and found this one at the dealership I work for. I wont say that I got a killer deal on it, but I got the truck I wanted for what I wanted to pay.

I ordered the Weathertech mats for the front and rear as well as the cargo area mat, an iPod interface and a port spoiler. I'm shopping for a Viper alarm system with remote start and will have the front windows tinted soon to match the rear. I bought some touch up paint and a hitch receiver plug. I guess technically those are my first mods.

Does anyone on here ever sell their factory spoiler, or is there any demand for people wanting to buy? I'm not a fan on the factory unit as it looks too bulky to me. Mine has a couple of scuffs also. I'd probably make someone a killer deal on mine just so it doesn't sit in my house. Anyone interested, please let me know.

nice runner.. only problem with getting rid of your spoiler is that you'll have holes on your rear door... might as well trade your whole rear with one that doesn't have the spoiler.. you will also be loosing your third brake light... you shouldn't have any problem getting rid of it if that is your preference.. almost everyone wants the "hump".. IMHO just keep it.. from one limited owner to another, your runner looks good if not better with it.. :biggrin2:

I'm not just taking it off completely... I ordered a replacement port spoiler. SET (Southeastern Toyota) has an optional port-installed spoiler that is a bit smaller and not so bulky looking.

I'll be happy to sell my "hump style" spoiler to anyone interested. As I said, it has a couple scuffs. I just would rather have the smaller style spoiler.

ok... your'e talking about the older spoilers.. the flat ones.. they don't serve any purpose, other than looks... well, it is your 4runner.. looks like your mind is already made up...
