And this weeks projects have been

Rear Roll Bar. This was a kit for a full cage on my dads Cj5, but he has had it for 10 years and decided to throw it away. I jumped on the deal and this ended up being completely free. I had to change up some things. I will have it finished up tomorrow and installed

and I also added side wings to my rear bumper. I love them now, at first i was on the fence, but now they seem perfect to me. plus they are nice and tight to the truck

I am also hoping to do an internal snorkel for the summer. I spend a lot of time at Deep Creek, and almost hydrolocked my truck last year

I'd love for you to include those Wheeling Photos.

Those "just go for it mentality photos"

You do some nice work, I really like the bumper wings . Haven't seen them on a 4runner yet and they protect a spot that can be damaged easily

I like the whole truck, and your transmission preference! But really man, that looks sweet, and i like the tucked wings!

The belly pan thread has been updated with new pictures. and ill add my Diff armor thread to the list.

SO this morning i went out and fully welded the roll bar. Its going to be really nice when its painted. I am going to mount my spare to it, and my co2 tank id possible. I took some more pictures. It really turned out way better than expected. It fits real nice inside. I plan on just bolting it to the floor using the plates i welded on the legs. It should be strong enough. Really its just going to be a Utility bar to store stuff on/with

I like the setup man. I was thinking about something similar. Does the roll bar go through the floor to the frame?

I love the rear bumper hoops. I don't like the look that well from a style perspective, but super functional for off roading. Great idea.

Thanks I don't like the huge radius of the main bend either, but it was the only die my friend had... It actually turned out pretty good. But the added protection is worth it

UPDATE 5-1-11

so I have really been beating on my truck lately. Wheeling a few times a week. I added plates to the lower link mount sides to beef them up and fix my link holes, which were more like slots......

and the newest find is the my Lockright in the rear is malfunctioning. It is a total POS. DO NOT BUY A LOCKRIGHT FOR A V6 DIFF. the design re-uses the stock side gears. ans thats the main flaw. An aussie locker doesnt, so im going to switch to an aussie, or a spool if i cheap out.

My lockright is slipping and not locking up. I can floor it durring a u-turn and the tires dont even chirp. Its toast! soo yeah, not good news. Hopefully next weekend ill put in my new clutch and the aussie.
