Hey, I haven't put up any of my pictures of my 4runner yet. I got 3-4k on her finally.

I have blue interior neons all through out, so all throughout the feet area, it glows. The cargo area also glows.

The interior lighting is nice but the exterior neon is a a fad that should have stayed in the '90s. Do you drive this vehicle in the snow since undercarriage neon will just fall apart from everything being thrown into them?
Sorry but IMO neon is a waste of money unless you live in a more friendly climate and you still have issues with the elements where ever you are.

I do really like your interior tho';i might do mine in a green to match my paint.

hehehe.. I had the neons undercarriage since 2000.

They have moved from three different cars. So I put them on again. They don't get damaged. Life time warranty from Streetglow!

NICE!!!! Even though the undercarriage neons are out-of-date, I think it looks cool. Nice job.

Can you do a step by step write up of the interior footwell lights? I plan to do that mod also. Parts, website or store name of where you bought the stuff would be helpful also. Thanks in advanced.

ok, the cabin interior neons are from Redline, their Ultrabrite 9 inch thin tubes. They have a transformer that after 2 minutes they glow maximum brightness.

The ones under the dash are pretty simple, find an area under your driver's side however, the underdash under the passenger side was hell of a time. If you go up under it you'll find a plastic panel. You will discover that the 4 wheel drive unit and the tire pressure unit is mounted on that plastic plate. unscrew both of them and unclip the metal brackets that are mounted to the modules. Now you can actually move the two modules into the kick panel on the passenger side! There is plenty of room in the passenger kickpanel for the two modules to sit in there.

The ones underneath the front two seats are ziptied to the brace of the seat cover. The wiring is ran through the carpet where the under seat vents are, make sure to leave some slack so the seat can move back and forth. and then sneaked to the door sill.

The neon in the rear cargo area is a 15 inch neon tube that probably needs to be replaced with the ultrabrite, and it was ran along the privacy bar/sheet mechanism, and through the pocket on the left driver's wheel well. I used a RC Tamiya connector so in case I need to drop the seats down and remove the that bar, I can disconnect the neon quickly and not worry about it being shorted.

I work at best buy, that's where those interior lights came from. however each tube is 25 bucks.

I still don't understand the need to look like a rolling disco;neon is just soooo "FATF" and just cheapens the look of a vehicle IMO.

I do still dig the interior lighting immensely.

It'll look better when you get it out on the real road, and let it do the "runnin" it was built for, and get some dirt and dust and mud on it!!

I already ran it... it's gonna look clean now no mud on it. I had a 1995 ford bronco that went off road plenty of times. Plus it's a 05, I've already tested it's limit. It can go up to 135 and then no more..
Damn limiter!!! I was racing a nissan Maxima and I was doing good!!!!

How about keeping that "racing" stuff on a track since no SUV has any business on public roads doing over 100mph much less any car and racing but I guess if you got a death wish.

of course it has nothing to do with racing, someone was like oh to test the limits... oh I definitely tested the limit of it... truck hasn't hit anything above 85 since... ..
