Ate my gas station breakfast on the beach, the locals new about the food..

If the whether is going to be bad may as well try and enjoy it

There was no one on the beach but a few other hitting the dunes so I had a chance to get a few pics.

Nice to finally see a white 4Runner with a black Westin Safari Bar. Ive been thinking of getting one and cant decide black or chrome on my white 4Runner. Looks great!!!

What are the specs on your truck ?
Lift , rims , tires ect..... looks cool with the black and white combo.

2005 sport- 4.7 liter, Westin safari bar, hella lights, waag rear bumper gard, 265-70/17 toyo open country AT tires ( 10 ply), American Racing Victor teflon 17x8 wheels. Some other misc parts, K&N filter, kenwood 600 watt amp, kicker solobaric 8 (square sub)

I have a a daystar leveling kit but haven't decided whether it's worth installing or not.. Fabtech and pro comp are working on 5.5 and 6 inch lifts for 4runner right now so I think I'm going to wait and see what happens there.

Waiting on some litters of boa constrictors before I get anything else anyway...

I'm thinking of pulling the roof rack off and painting it teflon colored to match the wheels. Silver looks kind of out of place.. What do you think?

Is the daystar kit just a front level spacer ? I think the level kit would look good , lift is nice but 5-6" I think would be to much , looks good the way it is without being overkill.

We are supposed to get hit with snow pretty good hear tonite so I cant wait to get out and play

You might try to find a black roof rack off an SR5 or Limited and swap.

I like the look of white truck with black accessories.

It's just a front leveling top spacer kit. I have Xreas on there so I might stick it on until I decide on what I want to do for lifting.

Oh, BTW... it's 50 degrees here today pics were from yesterday and there isn't a trace of snow.. Rained last night.. Gotta love beach whether...

As far as the roof rack goes I would deff. swap it or paint it , or even powder coat black would look cool.

I have the same size tires as you do , but Revos and its amazing how much nicer an 8" rim looks with that size . Looks like a much bigger , beefier tire. Do you have any rubbing with the 8" rims ? what offset and back space ?

Very little rubbing only when the wheel is pinned or real close to it with a bump in the road. I did pull the inner fender wells in a little with some zip ties. The wheels have 4.5 backspacing. I'm sure the leveling kit would get rid of the little rubbing.

I see you have a car I can appreciate.. I love mustangs.. Here is our 2004 40th anniversary comp orange Mach 1.

Very fast...

It's got a few upgrades, C&L Cold air intake, 95mm MAF.. Working on the wife to go for a eibach sport line spring kit, and some powder coated black cobra wheels , as well as some cross drilled power stop rotors. A cat back system wouldn't hurt any either..

what do you think of the new style Stangs ?

I pulled the Cobra back a little in HP I was at 460 RWHP but it was a little to lean so we richened it up a little to be on the safe side. In spring I'm going to chaange to a smaller blower pulley & hopefully hit the 500 RWHP , I need to do that like I need a hole in the head.


By the way we got about a foot of snow overnite and today .... playtime tonite

They are OK I wouldn't mind a shelby GT 500....LOL...

Honestly though I think the retro thing is getting played out. I'd rather have the style I have now. If I wanted to spend the money a new one costs and have the look of an old one I'd get an old one and restore it.. When I was at the dealership getting the seatbelts replaced on an 02 GT I had before this one ( this is the 4th mustang) they were showing me these new Roush stage 2 and 3's and I saw the mach 1 out on the lot... Had to have it.. only 15000 miles on it still.

Those superchargers are a blast, but sensitive.. I had a 2000 lightning and ended up trading it off right after the intercooler cracked at 8000 miles.. ( it could have been me rodding it though) It was sweet right up untill that point though....LOL...

I agree with the retro look , I think it gets old reall quick , as of now I'm ok with it . I'm a vert fan and had an 2000 gt vert before this.

I actually miss the GT. It was more fun to mod ect... to make it go fast and trick out . I need to watch what I do with the Cobra because if I go to far the Value takes a crap. My dealer said they would work on a good trade deal for my Cobra for a new Gt vert. To be honest its tempting because there is a ton of body kit mods and perf. mods. The shellby would be really cool to have too. I thought they were coming out with a Boss version and was kind of waiting on that to see it. I like verts but would have not problem giving it up for a Mach , Boss , Shellby hell I hardly drive the car anyway. 10k on the Cobra.

The ins. on the Cobra is very expensive. I'm also 44 y/o , married , clean record . The Cobra is also to fast for me , I still have a disipline problem driving it , even at 44 y/o........ lol

Im normally not wild about white vehicles but yours is definatly the exception to the rule. Looks like you made a great choice on the wheels and the front light bar with the black and white covers. Very clean looking and not overdone.
