Jaos Euro Spoiler! Painted & Installed!!

LINY, looks great! I also like what you've done to the wheels! Really stands out! Double thumbs up--kudos--whatevs!

thanks dude! yeah i've been on like turbo mode with the mods to my truck...stay tuned, OME coils, 2" body lift, and some other goodies coming soon
 
Maybe it's just me. It looks great from the side (pics #1, 2, and 4) , but looking from behind the truck (pic #3), I am not sure if I'd like it better than the OEM spoiler.

The Jaos spoiler could look better if installed a little bit lower.

KellyJ -- could you post some pics of your painted OEM spoiler that matchs the color of your truck?

It does take a little getting used to from the straight-on back angle...it's uncommon is really why it looks that way

i'm actually curious to see what the OEM deflector looks like painted too....post some pics!!

hey thanks man! yeah i agree i'm a little torn on the spoiler....i like it...alot....i just think it's gonna take some time to get used to, especially since we're not used to seeing them on 3G 4runners very often, if at all. Other than Jason Burtman's truck, mine's the only one i've seen with it
 
I have been too lazy to buy another can for a third coat (which it needs) and this isn't the best picture, but it gives you an idea...

Ok, gotcha. Thanks for the info and photo too. I'm still on the fence about getting one of these, but it does look good on yours.

Have you not seen Pfdaxe's (YT member) 4Runner before? He's got a jaos spoiler on his black 4Runner. Looks really good.

Why not just pull off the ones on your truck and paint those? Save you some money.

When you do decide to spray paint them, I would advise against using Testors spray. The write-up I used recommended Testors and I know a few other people have used it but the paint on my emblems started chipping about a month after I put them on.

When I re-do them I'm going to use Krylon Fusion Spray Paint I'm also going to do a coat of primer too. Let us know how it turns out and what kind of paint you end up using. I'm probably not going to get around to pulling my emblems back off and re-doing them until this summer so if you use that Krylon or find another good spray paint that works well, lemme know!

i don't really feel comfortable using any kind of adhesive to re-attach them, so I'll just get new ones, i'll get em for cost anyways cause i have a commercial account with them
