JayZero's Mod Thread

OK down to the grits, she only has 53k miles on her and she is completely stock. I installed a fog light switch to shut off the TRAC and all that jazz last night. I have been just running around with it unplugged for about a year now and got tired of looking at all the lights. It was unplugged right after I hit a poll parking after the break peddle just constantly pushed back at me. I also took off the bumper at that time, used dent hammers to straighten the chrome piece and went to modify/repair the valance with fiberglass. I quickly hated the way the mod was coming out and abandoned the idea. I now have a new plan and just finished stripping all the fiberglass off. I now have to repair the crack that runs down the middle of the valance and do the new mod. :D

Anyway this is my build/mod thread. I started it today with my stock runner mostly because I was figuring out my new camera lol. I'm not planning to go crazy with mods, but I am trying to make it so she is not like every other runner out there.

As she sits now

Hi Jay,

I also have a 2wd auto. So I'll be following your postings with interest to see what you do. I've come to a point where I can start to mod mine (98') and haven't got a clue as to where to begin.

Hope it all turns out the way you want my friend.

Learn to focus.... no.... need to learn to keep hand still when pushing the button..... yes :biggrin2:

O and as far as the bumper, I haven't been too concerned with it right now. I plan to install a trany cooler ether this or next month and I would have to take the bumper off to install. So I do have a plan for the bumper and it is on my mind to get it back on, just not the time yet.
