JBA Offroad Convenient Integrity Issues

I have email JBA several times about my UBJ boot cracking to pieces and shooting grease out of it with less than 100 miles on them. I have not gotten a response to a single one of my emails ever since I started asking questions about it nearly 2 months ago. My warranty, conveniently, has just expired for the 1-year ball joint warranty. I have heard of other people being able to contact Marlin, so I am completely stumped as to why he didn't respond to any of my emails.

There is a lot of regret and unease I feel towards recommending several people these UCAs now that I have seen the integrity of JBA's customer service. It is also comical when he talks of being a 'man of God' and sends emails like this.

I really did not want to write this post, but I am lost on what to do from here. If any of you have had any success or an inside way of contacting him, please let me know how to pursue a solution.

In my aftermarket travels, i find emailing to be a 50/50 chance on getting a reply, making a phone call usually yields a higher communication success rate. good luck

That is concerning indeed. When I purchased my JBA arms I requested the old style boot so get it more quickly and they stated that the new boots would be available to me (at no charge) in the coming months. I have checked in on them a couple of times and it seems that the global supply issue of rubber precursors has made it extremely hard for them to source dust boots. One of their reps, Charles, has been <24hr responsive to me over email on a few occasions.

Sorry to hear about your negative experience.

I got the old boots without any option for new, but they were quick to offer a free set of old and also new (when available) when I reached out about my cracking woes. I didn't want to bug them, but it's now been over 6 months since I've heard from them. Not a good look, for sure.

sorry to hear about your bad experience with them. I'm currently in the market for some UCAs, and JBA was actually one of the ones i started looking in to..
