JBL and RDS radio Different!

Ok, I have a 2005 4runner with the JBL system. However every 4runner I peek into, that has the JBL system has a RDS system on it and the dash is designed differently with the 4runners ONLY with JBL.

So, Anyone with a 2003-2005 4runner, with only a JBL radio.
The radio is recessed.

The 2003-2005 4runner with a JBL and RDS radio. the radio is almost flush with the dash!


So, I have a dash kit from Scosche for a RDS Radio NOT a JBL radio!

So let me know if you want it! 3 bucks plus shipping and it's yours!

Yup, the dash opening is different as well. I found this out the hard way when I went from a single disc JBL to a 6 disk JBL.

Just some clarification. The 6 disc JBL is the only one that supports RDS. The single disc does NOT support RDS.

ah!!! yeah! that's my jbl single disc. Would you believe that I install every day and I can't even figure out the right kit I need for my own stinking truck.. argh fustrates me, but oh well... I'm gonna get over it and order another one.
