JBL subwoofer "stock" box

I went with this one: Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8" Shallow-Mount Subwoofer.

Cut the old plugs off. The wire at the bottom of the "T" is positive, the top is negative. Strip the ends of your wires. If I remember correctly, the terminals on the back of the Pioneer are push type.

Clock it so the holes line up.

Thanks man, looking down in the reviews for that thing on amazon it even shows one being in a 05 4runner.

Yep. It fits perfectly in the JBL box. There's a video on YouTube on how to do it, but the guys drill new holes. Absolutely unnecessary. All you have to do it rotate the sub so its holes like up with the factory ones. They also show you how to determine polarity, but like I said, the plug on my JBL sub had the polarity labeled, as you can see in the pic. It honestly will take you longer to take apart the rear panels than it will to swap subs.
