JBL Synthesis out - Pioneer Premier In

Just finished the install on my 03 4runner LTD. It had the JBL synthesis with the in dash 6 cd changer. Hope you like it. I haven't submitted too many pictures because almost everything is hidden including the sub. However, I did have to remove the rear heater vents under the seats for the amps to fit. Oh well, the kids will just have to put on a sweater in winter time.
Front seperates are PRSX Premiers with the largest tweeter I've ever seen. Fits perfectly in the factory spot. 61/2 inch revseries Premier speakers are behind the rear factory grills.
For a head unit, i'm using the Pioneer AVHP7600DVD screen with a direct IPOD adaptor.
P.S. The Toyota sub grill clicks back into place so it is completely stealth. I left it off in the picture so you could see what I had done.
PPS The sub sounds amazing.

I am really interested in the installation of your sub. Do you have any instructions/pictures of the sub install?

Thanks, I only have the initial pictures of the empty space prior to making the fibreglass box. I removed the factory amplifier, and sub enclosure. The fibreglass box is right against the metal of the vehicle. It is 0.8 cubic feet and is sealed. Make sure you dynamat the inside metal as high as you can because it will rattle at high outputs if you don't. The sub is tight sounding but can still get deep when it needs to.
I do need to go back in and space the box a little distance from the side panel. Now that the sub has broken in, there's more excursion and it does hit the grill at higher volumes and certain frequencies. I've used 6$ worth of Canadian dollar coins to seperate the box from the grill for the time being but that's a little ghetto. I should have it fixed tomorrow. Sorry, I always think I'm going to take lots of pictures and then I forget...

I wanna be like you when I grow up... You built my dream box. Man I wish I knew how to fiberglass.... So what are you gonna do to space the speaker from the grill?

Thanks, as far as spacers. I just need something that keeps the gray plastic trim seperated about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch away from the box. I'll probably use a couple of small wedges. It won't be pretty but the grill will hide them anyway.

OK, so I want more details... How did you get the fiberglass mold? Did you di it inside the vehicle, or make a mold from the stock box?

Any closeups of the headrest monitors? Looks like leather, are they mounted on the back of the headrests, or cut to fit inside of them?

The headrests are cut into the leather. It was very tough to run the wire on the passenger side head rest. The touchscreen has a large plug on the one end that was impossible to pass through the head rest post.

As for the box, I glassed it in the vehicle. I used a wood frame with carpet. I then glassed over the carpet letting me shape it into place. Once I had done this, I was able to remove the box from the vehicle and finish it outside.
