Fits snugly in between the passenger seat and center console, no mounting required. Just need to hide the power wire and i'll be good to go

Nope, I'm actually going to Southeastern in Hammond this semester but will be transferring hopefully by either next semester or the next fall. I live off essen so im basically 10 mins from campus. And I usually drive around campus accasionally on weekends since my girlfriend lives in Southdowns which is like 2 mins from campus hah. We like to drive around the lakes and goof off.

I actually saw a 4th gen driving down Perkins the other day had a decent lift and meaty tires i thought it was you at first but it didnt have a brush guard so i ruled you out hah.

There's a bunch of them around campus, and a few 3rd gen's too. I'm actually headed to Hammond tomorrow to plasti-dip my wheels and grille

Really? Dang i cant wait to transfer... Ahh sweet. I bought some 80 series landcruiser rims off craigslist that im going to paint up and mount my current tires on. Getting the old tires removed this afternoon so i can sand and paint them. Btw if you need someone to dismount/mount tires, theres this guy that lives behind the walmart off college that will do it for 5$ a tire. Which is where im going. You may want to take someone with you and during the day though. haha. GL with the plasti that stuffs awesome.

It's been a while since I've posted on here but I just updated my build and have big plans in the works!

It's been a while since I updated my build. In the past few months I plasti-dipped my front grille, took another offroad trip where I crushed my factory skid and bent my exhaust crossover and plasti-dipped mt rear toyota badge, probably gonna tackle the rest this weekend.

While Brunes and I went up to his shop to compress the springs for the coilovers Andy, Amit, Wes, and Matt got my rear suspension in.

Mushroomed the bolt on the driver's side UCA trying to get it off and had to take the grinder to it. However, Brunes was kind enough to donate an old 4Runner UCA he had in the garage.

Also removed the step rails and trimmed more of the mudflaps

New Rims/Tires

Matt (Blueanimal) hooked me up with some old 265/70/17 Firestone Destination M/T's on TRD 5-Spoke Rims he had laying around. It definitely cured my tiny tires syndrome.

Looks awesome! congrats on the new look! Too bad it's 2WD, you look like you definitely enjoy off roading.

How is the alignment now? Also what are you planing on doing with your old rims? Selling maybe? :naughty:

Yeah, the 2wd thing is a minor hurdle, once im out of school and have some extra money and a daily driver I'm gonna do a 4wd conversion on it!

The alignment is pretty bad right now. Just got the lift on Saturday afternoon and haven't been able to take it to an alignment shop yet. Also, I need to get the new rims/tires rebalanced. I have some local interest in the rims but if that falls through then I'll be posting them on here!

wow y'all gotta good group over there! Who's the other 4th gen with cladding? Both yours and his are looking great!!:bigok:

Yeah, there are about 40 of us actives over in South LA, between TacomaWorld, T4R, FJ Cruiser Forums, and IH8MUD, we have a pretty large group. It's awesome having so many local guys. There were 7 people that came to help me install my lift on saturday. It seems like we have a Meet every couple of weeks now.

And the other 4th gen is Andyman32392. The black cladding is all done with Plasti-Dip

Well, it looks like the free rims/tires will be coming off, I'm driving almost 3k miles in the next month all highway and am planning on putting my 6-Spokes and HT's back on until I can save up for some BFG AT's or Duratrac's or something more road friendly. Planning on taking the derp off the rims and going back to the basic silver color. What do y'all think?

About time I updated this thing

Added a set of 17" FJ Cruiser Rims I painted Satin Black
