Its the same thing a few other manufactuers have been using for a while, for example Nissan with their Integrated Power Distribution Module (IPDM) and they have a high failure rate also.
The Chrysler Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is of the same construction and style. A quick search on the internet reveals how regularly these units fail and cause numerous other issues and yet unsurprisingly Chrysler hasn't made a recall/campaign yet(most of the failures I have seen I can only see as design/factory flaws, as I can't see how a consumer could have caused the unit to fail most times.) Its basically a fuse block with a module built inside and if you're worked on Chrysler products for any length of time you'll know their modules should have their own service interval for how regularly they fail.
There could be a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code), but I don't remember if Chrysler is nice enough to provide that on the OBDII generic side (i.e. using a cheap Autozone scanner) or you need a Chrysler capable scantool (Like the factory DRB3, or whatever Chrysler uses for its dealers these days, they have so many scantools its not even funny.)
Bottom line, is the TIPM is more than likely junk and needs to be replaced.
