Actually, I found it quite distracting....... too many colors.... and especially the bright green (cannot be dimmed down) "ECO" light....

If you roll through the ODO settings you can turn the "ECO" light off. (Page 87)

My first mod (wasnt really one), but this is a good one. I picked up the car last night and drove almost 100miles to come home. The green ECO is hella annoying.

Now, how to stop nav's voice turn by turn instructions? And the right little screen with the lanes and lots of red (-) wrong way display? I couldnt believe a Japanese car's 2014/15's navi is worse than those of 5yrs old BMWs or 10yrs old garmin......

Failed!

Sadly..... the first mod is a "failure"

I wanted brighter back-up lights, so I ordered these:

They are definitely "whiter", but it is NOT "brighter". :-(

Left is the new white LEDs, right is the stock 921:

Now, I need to hunt for some brighter 921-sized brighter LEDs....

Any recommendations?

Don't waste your time. Get some Rigids and put them in the bumper. Someone just recently did a clean install on a stock bumper.

So thats interesting...because in my 2014 when i adjust my roller switch it dims..

My roller do not dims the "GREEN" oval (ECO) light..... it dims everything else.... maybe I have a defective one....

Don't waste your time. Get some Rigids and put them in the bumper. Someone just recently did a clean install on a stock bumper.

I will do that once I get my Gobi roof rack, I will probably wire 2 rear facing, roof mounted light to turn on with a switch as well as with "reverse" (probably picking that signal up from the "reverse sense" line).

Ordered the EBAY kits, came after a few days..... not as nice as the Precision LED's kit, but certainly NOT $100+ (it's only $20)

Came in 2 anti-static bags:

Black ones, size 194 (left) for most of the replacements; and size 3022 (right) for the dome & trunk:

I don't really have much of a problem with the dome light as many other members has reported.

Detailer's Pro - Coating Prep, Paint Coating & Poli-Coat Sealant

This is not much of a "mod", but none the less, it is *some* work done to the car. Last weekend, I washed and applied "Detailer's Pro Series - Paint Coating" to my new SR5P. They say that this semi-perm "paint coating" is as durable, if not more durable, as those dealership applied "clear coat". It should last a year or 2, I don't really expect it to last *that* long; if I can get 9mo to a year out of it, I will be pretty happy!

I washed the car, dried it. Did an all-a-round "Coating Prep Polish", then applied the "Paint Coating" to everything - paint, glass, black trims, wheels, mirrors etc... the only thing I left out is the tires... I even did the inside trims (hard plastic), and inside of the glasses..... Lastly, I did the "Poli-Coat Sealant" on the paint.

If your married you'll change the mirror/map lights back . . . yet to find a female who likes harsh white LED light when looking in mirror.

All Power Outlet constant ON(switched) - *Research Phase*

I think I will go add a switch besides the power-inverter switch, you will get 2 choices:
1) back to original configuration, only when IGN, power outlets (rear 12V) will be ON
2) power outlets always ON even when the car IGN is off

I may go fancy and find a nicer switch later.
