Terrible dealer. At least my dealer was. His name was Brad. Doing my research for my 4Runner I tried this dealer as well as some others. I had already reserved an Fj cruiser at a dealer where I go to school, but drove home to visit my parents and see other dealers. I asked Brad a couple questions and for most he would reply "I am not really sure, I have only been here about a month" which I know is a dealer tactic, but don't lie to me. How do I know he was lying? Well when we asked about the 3rd row seat, he said they weren't very common and "for the 10 years he has worked for Toyota he has only seen a couple." That was pretty much where he lost my business. He was completly unorganized and was just an idiot. I left telling him I would be in touch. The next morning he called and asked me what I was thinking, I told him at this point I still wasn't sure if I was going to go 4runner of FJ cruiser. He informed me that if I was interested in the FJ they were the only dealer in the state that was going to get a 4x4 FJ on the first shipment. Well that is funny because my dealer I reserved mine from already had recieved their sheet describing the FJ they were getting. And what's that a 4x4? No way, only Jim Norton was getting one of those. There were other little lies here and there and overall they just pissed me off. They do offer "lifetime engine/drivetrain gaurantee for free" except that it is built into the price...but I guess that makes it free.

Long story short, I bought from Janzen Toyota in Stillwater, OK. Great company to deal with, honest from the start, not pushy, worked with me 100%. That and $18 factory oil changes can't be beat. Also considering they already gave me 2 cards for free oil changes. One the day I bought it, and one in the mail shortly behind. Also they gave me a 10% discount card for parts and labor. Better deals to be had online, but regardless I was impressed they went that far.

Jim Norton Service Review

Tulsa, Oklahoma
Jim Norton Toyota
Service Rep: Shawn
No of Visits: 7

Shawn is a charismatic guy who always tries to stay on top of things and ensures you have accurate information.
The dealership has a the biggest Toyota service department in the area, and the busiest. If you don't have an appointment expect to wait at least an hour to get your car to a mechanic if not more.
Booking appointments by phone or online is easy, and there's always someone to answer the phone. Getting to see or talk to your service rep can involve a wait, although it's usually not more than 5 minutes. If you're in for an appointment your vehicle seems to go almost right back into the garage and starts getting worked on. Never have I been left waiting and waiting beyond a promised or estimated time without an informed update of what is going on with my vehicle.
Mechanics seem sound and do good work. I've never found my engine compartment a mess, or any residue of anything spilled inside. Problems are addressed and non-warranty pricing is provided prior to service with a good emphasis on what is recommended and what is critical to do.
Non-warranty pricing is typical of any dealer. Some simple and common services are on par with local shops, other services are laughably ridiculous.

I've had to return to the dealer to address a problem which wasn't fixed only once trying to track down a faint intermittent squeak. I don't fault the dealer for as they had torqued several things back into place and believed they had fixed it. The problem ended up being a piece of body trim (I didn't know those could squeak), and was fixed after the return visit.
Loaner/Rental cars are available on site, and provided for extended warranty service. Prior arrangement helps ensure you have a car waiting, although there are usually a couple available. The loaner fleet has been reduced to exclusively Corollas, so don't expect to trade in your 4Runner for a loaner of similar size.
Service waiting area is comfortable and clean. Seating is lots of leather armchairs and couches all in good range of wifi. There's also a sandwich bar and the food is good if a touch pricey. Free coffee, bottled water, and cookies area available in this area too no questions asked.
Overall I'd highly recommend the service department here if you have cause, but if possible have an appointment first.

I can agree with you that Janzen Toyota in Stillwater is a great dealer to deal with. Bought my 03' 4Runner there for $9250 out the door when asking price was $12750. Dealt with a salesman named Rusty, very motivated seller. The dealer also went above and beyond in the used inspection and service. The changed all brake pads and rotors, flushed the brake fluid, changed the coolant, oil and transmission fluid (records were shown). No bull sh*t, straight forward and honest people.
