Wow........unreal....I ended up here (the site) quite by accident yesterday, idea hunting for an '06 SR5 V8 4x4 I'm in the process of purchasing. Pretty tame beginnings as it's 100% stock and just in need of the wheels/tires that have brought me here(or so I thought). After coming across your thread last night, the tame and laid-back vision of the new ride went out the window, totally shattered, and has been replaced by one that breaths fire and has cost me all of my time & money (in my mind anyway)!
After reading through the entire thread, I'm not sure exactly what you or your brother do for a living, but if it's not related to what you have shared here in some way, you may just be doing yourselves a disservice. Very impressive creative design & problem solving ability that you guys have, as well as your bro's welding. It really got my mind going, thanks (doesn't seem to happen often these days!). You do realize, there are a whole lot of so-called custom type shops around the country staying very busy, despite themselves and their lack of imagination.......... I'm just sayin'........ it was difficult to tell from the last 6 or 8 pages if your tractor filter is still in use, if it is, it occured to me that it might look quite good if you could get hold of some type of smoked plexi dome for it, or maybe just a bit of limo tint would produce the same effect- maybe even stop your girlfriend from bustin' your chops about it .....like that could really happen ;-) Thanks and I look forward to whatever comes next- Tpa
