So, I just reached out to someone with more insight than I have and will eat some crow. Apparently the moonroof will be standard. Not sure why they don't list it that way on our internal ordering page, but I'll take it.

To add insult to injury, I had the info the whole time, but I was looking at documents that were more cryptic and not the one that spelled it out in very easy to read language. :redface:

Just buy a used SR5 or trail. put some lockers on it. lift it w/ better suspension. tires and better wheels. Steal an FJ roof rack. Plasti dip some emblems. Wrap it funky blue with your personal 'overland' logo. I think "Overland Pro" is still available. Film and monetize yourself driving over dirt bumps.

Boom. pocket like 15k and buy that boat you always wanted with a machine gun mount (gun not included).

If the 4runner continues on in 2020 as a 5th gen and a Pro has all of those options, I may consider trading my 17 TRDORP in for one. Especially if it is available in a cool color.

As far as I can tell its standard equipment, not an option.

Sunroof will come in 2020 with the Gen 7. They're skipping 6 because the V8 diesels aren't compatible with the number 6.

So I just got called last night from Mt States Toyota in Denver that my allocation for a voodoo TRDP will be there in approx 2 weeks. I currently have a ‘18 TRDP super white totally stock. I will be trading this one in for the ‘19 unless I hate the color. All of the special TRDP colors, inferno, quicksand, cement, cavalry blue, all look great to me in person every time I see one on the road. I love my super white TRDP but I wouldn’t mind a change. Voodoo looks great on the FJ IMO. 4Runner color obviously is personal preference and I like ALL of the special TRDP colors. IMO the 3K upcharge for suspension, jbl audio, sunroof, and cargo rack isn’t terrible. Question for the thread is will I regret trading super white for voodoo? ...BTW this ‘19 TRDP will have a sunroof. It’s on the build sheet.

If you click on Full Specs and then Exterior, "Power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade" is listed as "Standard."

The moonroof shows up on both the interior and exterior pictures in the configurator too.

I'm on the list for a voodoo blue there too so if you don't like it I might be picking it up instead haha.

A ship arrived in NY on 9/1 with mine onboard, dealer tells me it should be delivered to the dealership here in MD 2-3 weeks after the ship arrives at port. Here is a kicker - apparently all TRD Pros are coming by default with running boards and sliding cargo tray, no way to remove them from the order. If you notice, the build tool on their website also has these add-ons with no way to remove them. AKA, I don't think the dealer is BS'ing me...

Seriously though I'd drive it.

So in 2010 I was looking at Highlanders. I'm at a dealer, and they show me two different shades of gray or silver. But then I say, but what about that one over there, there's a third shade. And the salesman says its purple. (Mica Amethyst or some sh!t like that). I walk up to it, and it looks silver to me, except the plastic trim has a hint of purple in it. He makes a joke about being color blind. And ... it was no joke.

I had to add both to my build when I put mine together. But since it seems most people want both options I’m assuming almost all of them will come with both.
