Just because its a Jeep doesn't mean you can cross it!!

Here are some pics from my trip to Sheep Bridge in Central Arizona. This guy and his wife (and 1 year old baby I must add!) showed up and instantly tried to cross the river without even hesitating. The result was water in the motor and a Jeep-Tub. When I went over to check it out the wife was all irriatated and said "Thank you but we don't need any help!" I just laughed and walked away. They got it started but it didn't sound good at all.

Here is a pic of the water coming out, priceless. He even mentioned that it was his dads jeep, and that it has been through worse. I highly doubt it but hey, what do I know? I bought a Toyota!!:awais:

Classic Fail! Not because it's a Heep but because the driver didn't check out the crossing first prior to driving through. I think it's common sense to check water depth prior to crossing.

Additionally, that Heep is completely stock with no lift whatsoever

I wouldn't have taken the risk especially with my family. Another reason why not to wheel alone :bash:

At least they got out ok so that's good. They should've taken your help when you offered...then again they were too proud and embarrassed at the same time I bet.

x2...it is their loss. That Jeep is screwed. The water level is high, but is not too bad...did the guy plunged into the water?? How did water get into the engine?
