Just bought trd pro suspension for my v8 4th gen

Soooooo I bought these bc my 5100s are kind starting to crap out. I love the lift I have with the 5100s. I have the fronts set to the highest setting and the rear has the 5100 with daystar spacer all with fj 4x4 springs. And camburg uca.

Since I know trd pro suspension is not adjustable but it is 1" taller then the regular 5th gen suspension. So what spacers would I need to achieve the same lift I currently have or maybe higher ? And can anyone suggest something, sizes, brands, anyone selling front spacer for a 5th gen???

You have a 13" springs. You can get another inch by buying a 14" spring. King and eibach both make springs that will work with a 2.5" shock. Since eyou have a V8 you might want a 650lb spring if you have too much nose dive. Although my 6112s have a 600 lb spring and they are ok. Yours are 550 lb spring.

depends if you have the the fj trail 6112 or 4r trd pro. check your part number on the springs or shock. one of them has a 13 in spring and one has a 14 in spring and different spring rates. then you start from there and since you have it on decide how much lift you want. If new you may want to let it settle for a couple weeks.

dobinson makes a 1 in lift spring or toytec makes a spacer collar or top out spacer.

I got the fj tt it looks exactly the same.

Just measured the spring and its 13. And I guess I want a 3" lift or whatever the 5100s fj springs and ds resr spacer. Which is my current spec. So maybe the front needs a 1-1.5" spacer??

Well right now I'm not trying to spend a whole ass load. I mean I daily do daily drive my t4r but I duno what's more cost effective a spacer or a spring. Bc the install is going to charge me more to disassemble the fronts for a new spring vs a spacer. I'm still kind of new to lifts and so forth. My current set up was based on a various members setup..

I bought a TRD pro suspension from a 4Runner and started with the Toytec lift which includes the rear springs and Front spacers. With all the spacers up front, there was still quite a bit of rake. The 13” 550 lb springs are just not enough for the V8. I ended up getting the eibach 14” 650 lb springs and now it is pretty level with no spacers up front.

I bought a TRD pro suspension from a 4Runner and started with the Toytec lift which includes the rear springs and Front spacers. With all the spacers up front, there was still quite a bit of rake. The 13” 550 lb springs are just not enough for the V8. I ended up getting the eibach 14” 650 lb springs and now it is pretty level with no spacers up front.

Can you post pix of your rig so I can get an idea of what it looks like? I mean right now I have fj 4x4 rear springs currently with 1.5 daystar spacers. If I can install this suspension with the 14" spring I think I'll be good. But maybe I would need the top plate spacers???

That doesnt look bad at all. J went ahead and bought the toytec 1 inch spacer. I'm hoping this does it for me. I did more digging and fj and 4r pro suspension all same except the spring. Fj uses 14" spring on bottom ring groove mount 4r has 13" using the top ring groove mount. So a 14" spring wont help lift just with ride and travel of the shock. But I dont know if I can get a 15" spring and mount to the bottom and have enough shock to supply that spring.
